carbon bonnets.........are available
hard intake pipe (prob carbon fibre).........Carbon would be expensive as its a tube, try moulding a tube!! Better of with alloy.
engine damper........to stiff engine mounts will only increase G/Box problems
carbon fibre plug covers.......flat one is easy, but carbon is had to get now.
lightweight mounts..........could be done
rear brake upgrade kit........all ready available
uprated larger throttle bodies (will be expensive) agree
ramair for radiator grille.........easy to copy
coilovers with lighter weight springs
electronic coilover kit......No one will be willing to develop a new set for such a small demand, whats wrong with TEIN !!!! you can alter the spring rates..
alloy wishbones..........good idea. But tube ones would be cheaper.
sequential shifter.....again good idea but hard to achieve
grp panels, rear hatch-bonnet. already available.
rollcage........already available.
Sorry to sound so negative, but most of the above is already out there if people look. No one will be willing to develop small runs of equipment if the demand is not there.
Cheers
Phil
PS Dont forget the gearbox casing, if that can be solved that will be worth some money if no to expensive.

Interest added to the engine dampener, hard intake pipe and lightweight mounts.

I'd agree with Bracpan about the carbon hardpipe. It'll be needlessly expensive !

i do agree with practically everything you said there phil! so i have removed some items from the list.
regarding the rear brakes, like the fronts they are available BUT at a hefty price, this is why im doing this list! once i have gauged interest in certain items i can go back to them and get a price on the manufacture, which should be the cheapest around (as with the front 6 pot kit)

the gearbox case strenghening kit which im developing, will be on the market once i have test reults back to prove that it does infact strenghen it, and is not just a gimmick!
im really building this for my own quaife box, but if it works then i will make them for whoever may need them.

its possible someone could have already tried your idea:? it would be a lot simpler to discuss ideas betweem ourselves and maybe come up with something together:) development is about putting ideas together to find solutions

Sounds great look forward to see it. WIll be working on a air scoop over the winter will try and get it to fit GF and Normal bonnets with a front I/C. It will bolt on top of the engine and feed air over to the pass wing.
Will keep you informed.
Phi
PS keep up the good work.

as far as im aware no one has tried what im doing!
the reason ive not told anyone (barring 2 people off the site) is because people have a habit of putting ideas down with no constructive criticism, im pretty confident that this will strenghen the weak spot and without being bigheaded, ive looked at it from every possible angle, and its the only solution i can see that will work.

once its been tested i will tell everybody exactly what it is, then you can all make your own minds up as to whether you think its crap or not!
but either way it will be fitted to my box which will be seriously put through its paces.

ive nothing to lose stu:lol:

i can only gain from my little gizmo, so hopefully it wont be destruction of my quaife.
but without it, then it could be!
i just want to give it the best chance possible of survival:p

I believe we are all hoping your idea will work, I for one have my fingers firmly crossed for you.
I suporse the ideal test would be a 600+ bhp full weight Pulsar on very soft slicks on a proper drag start line....ouch!!!

Good Luck.

no company has an off the shelf 4wd sequential box for a pulsar, the idea is some clever fooker may be able to get an ikea sequential shifter to fit a gtir box, fingers crossed anyway.

And it will come flat packed too for cheaper delivery :p

dont think anyone will be prepared to make one tbh, too much money and not enough demand and people willing to pay the money for one.
would be nice though!

i would prefer a fibre glass bonnet not to keen on the carbon look on black paint work......as mentioned the carbon ones are available already

Hard intake pipe would be good (air filter just behind head light)

(bob did you want me to send the indicator intake to make a mould?)
