i bought a techniclutch stage 1 organic clutch for my escort, it had a measly 140 bhp and it still slipped, they are also the worst people you could ever deal with for a warranty claim, infact they still have my 1000 mile clutch, what you reckon they would say if i called up on monday morning, its been over a year now since the last contact  :?

Thats the one i got!!!!

there is numbers on the pressureplate but dont remember.
but there`s a code on the box it came in..
actually thers more codes like a check mark list.
and my is marked at the same code as i sad above.

RPS MAX series - Street disc. MS-17538-ST

"MAX" is about the pressureplate
(you can get 4puck,6puck,solid disc and sprung disc to go with that one)

and i have sprung street disc is a full face disc with springs.
damn smooth to drive and holds all the power i can give it.

if it just had realeased properly! :? :?

The code on the box says MS - 17538 ST and there's another number on the cover that says something like A540

DO NOT USE TECHNICLUTCH :!:

I bought 1 off them with their own cover and helix plate.

Lots of problems and had it out and the cover tested by Helix.

Came out with a clampin pressure of 350 when standard is 450 I believe, and an uprated helix is 750. Helix said it was a badly reconned unit :(

They've given me credit notes but why on earth would I want to use them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now sent all the appropriate letters giving them the option to refund fully but looks like gonna have to take this to court.

We really do need a sticky somewhere with companies that we shouldn't touch ith a barge pole
