I see now, so its not a banjo bolt but a threaded stud with a nut? Has it always been like that as thats a weird way of doing it!

Are the threads ok in the block?
Yes its weird.

It was done a long time ago by the motorsport garage that looked after the car for me.

I guess he couldn't order the correct bolt from Nissan or maybe the actual connector didn't fit?

I've pulled out a few threads at the far end, but I'd say around 70% are still intact!

I've ordered the OEM bolt from Nissan JP to see if that fits with my braided oil feed?

Any suggestions or ideas to help tighten up the unit without making it worse or just stopping it from leaking would be the best outcome at this stage!

I do feel that if I tighten it up to around 18-22NM (as per OEM spec) it might pull more threads out?
