problem with new fuel pump

6 weeks ago my pal wired in my new walbro wrong it worked at first, what i mean by that is you could hear it spinning but i never was able to get the car to start, then it stopped alltogether i now get no responce from the fuel pump i have taken the relay out and replaced it with wire just to check but no joy check all fuses in under dash no joy, can anyone think of anything else it could be am thinkin maybe he ****ed my walbro pump.

Yes, pump is probably f***ed if it has been run backwards (when you say wired wrong, I'm guessing you mean reverse polarity), as there would have been no fuel drawn into it.
I don't know about fuel pumps, but hydraulic pumps in general, die from cavitation (eat themselves) if there isn't enough fluid supplied to them:?

Try re-fitting your standard pump.
