It would cost £1007 (plus taxes and shipping) for the headers, downpipe and elbow. The Manifold alone would cost £583 (plus taxes and shipping) ! ;-)

Not that it matters as, they no longer make them !

That manifold is a true work of art though !

As for the cracking of manifolds i am sure if you had a think and placed some thought out braces on it
The decent manifolds on other cars that I've seen have small blunted off triangles welded on the tops of the runners, to the head flange and pipes.

This is similar to what I mean: http://www.driftworks.com/catalog/products/japspeed-sr20det-stainless-tubular-manifold-s14s15.html

But, on the tops of the runners and larger triangles !

You could probably make a bracket at the bottom, similar to this one ?!

Yeah,i have already brought a cheap s14 manifold[different design to that one] that i plan to tweak and fit it when i get a bigger turbo and thats got the little triangles you are on about, plus a brace.
I also plan to tack a few extra supports on it somewhere to help it i hope, but the first task is getting it to fit as it may be a bit tricky:lol::lol:

evobad: as far as I was told my manifold will fit the turbo in a stock position, I've yet to install it but I bl***y well hope so! I paid 495 + vat so not a bad deal...

I'll be sticking with my bored out standard one for the time being, they look like there from the same stable as the 2fast2cool manifolds and if so then they are crap, crap, crap

Anythings gonna be an improvment other the standard manifold, yeah a standard one will be good for 400bhp but a tubular manafold is gonna give quicker spool up surely!
and for £80 i think i'm gonna try one:oops:

Mark:thumbsup:
pretty sure the tubular will give a slower spool but better top end flow due to longer runners and bigger diameter so more volume to fill before pressure is made

theres a reason why they're are £80, its got nothing to do with being constructed from quality materials, being properly designed, longevity of use or bhp gains and everything to do with being chinese made bits of fooking cr&p

i wouldn't even use one as a door stop
