Anyone ever broken a rocker pivot before

The pivot that the rocker arm sits on, think i have one broken as the arm moves front to back in the head which it should not do

Hopefully i should just be able to remove the cams and everything to get to the rocker pivot, remove that and replace it with another and everything should be ok if its not totally fecked.


Has anyone else done this or has anyone heard of this before :?:

had the cam out today.

problem is the pivot bolt has worked loose or was not tight and its wrecked the top of the thread which therefore mean i cant bolt it in :shock: :evil: .

however i am not going to get it helli coiled either tommorrow night or thursday.

this will then sort the problem and save me trying to find a new head :shock:

problem sorted this evening, retapped hole to ten mil and added a 10-8mil helli coil.

all running good again now
