Air Filter??

Hmmm, I was hoping that someone has used on of these 'enclosed filters'. I've also seen the lovely Gruppe M stuff for a zillion pounds for BMs and Ferraris.

Maybe someone will get one in the next twelve months anyway

I had a Carbo gruppe M on my old beemer. My god that was sweet! :D It gave me a semi the first time i floored it thru a tunnel.

I had 1 of them viper kits on my mr2. Was good when it was N.A but as soon as i turboed it the filter became restrictive. Got HKS mushroom on my pulsar but putting a apexi 1 on in a custom carbon airbox.

I was told by a very respectable tuner that the Apexi is good for 400bhp and the piperx was one to avoid like the plague :? stick to jap was the advice i got.

Fastguy: How much where you able to get your filter for?? Where did you get it from and most importantly do you get the flutter from the turbo lol :lol:

Get yourself a simota filter as they use the same element as the apexi, bigger,and for half the price :wink:

you could try the blitz sonic, comes with
its own heat shield kind of thing
