Hi, not many of you'll will remember me probably but I am one of the original gang .

I'm gonna be selling the pulsar I've had built soon because I've Just got to old and to fat to enjoy it, plus my partner is disabled and I own a great dane.

I haven't seen the car for years but it's dry stored in Scotland and is Just having the last few things sorted.

The spec as far as I can remember it's been a while.

The shell is a very straight 50,000 shell no bends in the rails and has had a fresh coat of black paint

Rebuilt engine.
HKS pistons
HKS cams
Race bearings
Rocker stopper kit
Crank scraper and windage tray fitted.
750 injectors
Ported ceramic coated exhaust manifold
Ceramic coated 3" elbow
Ceramic coated heat Shields
GTX 2563 titanium wheeled ceramic coated turbo, with bronze bearing cages and stainless steel internal heat Shields. Good for around 430 bhp I believe with very little lag if any.

Brand new quaife gearset with new bearrings plus par 3/4 selector

Also has brand new HKS front LSD.

has 17" White wheels.
Big brake kit

Quaife gearset was £1900 plus New bearrings plus £900 par selector plus fitting.

Turbo was £1700

Ceramic coating heat Shields was £300

LSD was £900

Plus all the other stuff like engine rebuild, nistune, hks boost controller, whilteline bars, brakes, wheels.

Oh I nearly forgot I had the standard top mounted intercooler recorded with a WRC spec core as I wanted the car to look standard as possible. £350

Anybody that remembers me or my last pulsar knows I don't cut corners.

So please only serious people who can actually afford something like this get in contact.

I'm realistic and not greedy I spent about 20k in total on this one because I learned a lot of lessons from my last build, what's worth doing and whats not so I did this one a lot cheaper.

So any offers the right side of 10k will be considered

Many thanks

Rob.

Hey Rob
Can’t believe you’re selling up. Haven’t you always been old and fat though ;);):D:D. Only joking, it’ll be sad when you finally sell up and another one of the originals has gone.
Hope you’re all keeping well hun.

Hi guys lovely to see you're still around .

To be honest yes I've always been a fat bastard lol, I'm Just to old to enjoy the pulsar I've been driving around in my grand Cherokee for to long now, I enjoy the space and my partner and dog can get in and out ok.

My Jeep is getting old and having problems so if I sell the pulsar for what it's worth I can buy a newer version of my Jeep, after being made redundant and getting divorced when I was living in Scotland my credit ratings got ruined so I can't get finance on a loan these days. So the pulsar needs a good home someone who will appreciate it I hope and love it like I would of.

Rob, I feel you. - I parked the Pulsar up with a view to making a few tweaks and getting someone to sort the rear arches and bought another car to drive in the interim.

The Pulsar is still on axle stands (and has been for a few years now); I'm too used to the new car (and my wife isn't going back now either).

Good luck with finding a buyer. - At least yours is in one piece; that makes is easier!

Hi Rob, all the old gang are back together. Luckily this is the owners club, it doesn't mention anything about driving them.

Good luck with the sale, life has a habit of overtaking our plans

Well that's a shame to see it go.

Hopefully it lands in hands of a real enthusiast, rather than a breakers or chav

Hi again,

The old gang are still here! Nice.
I just logged on here after years for the sake of it and this is a nice surprise.

What a feeling of Nostalgia.

Mark Turbo, Jimmybackb, Mattgtir, Rishigtir, Steve Pudney with his clutch brackets were some of the other old school gang.

Not sure if you guys still remember me though. Hope you are all keeping well.

Hi @hmmm :grinning:

It’s nice to reminisce isn’t it. Yep they’re definitely some of the old school gang as well as Caleb, Kev renoupez and Mr GTiR.

You thought about coming back to the dark side and getting another R?

Haven't considered getting another R yet but who knows what the future holds.

They seem to be getting very rare , haven't seen one on the road for a few years now.

As a more recent member this is a nice thread to read. So, there was once an original old crew. That's cool ( doffs cap )
