locking wheel nut stuck on

The only trouble being that I still have to remove the hub to change the stud I think :cry: .

But seeing as i'v already undone the hub nut and been giveing it what for :oops: , I think I better play on the safe side and renew the bearing anyway :wink: .

I just bought one from the local autoparts for £37 all in with new seals and split pin, Nissan wanted £57+vat for the bearing plus more cash for the seals :evil: :roll: .

If you can get a small extension bar (old preferably) and weld that onto the end of the nut, that should work, this way you can get a proper turn on it.

If not then drill it out as john suggested.

All fixed now, just cost me £37 for a new wheel bearing 8) :D .


Was a bit of a pain to strip the rear suspesion with the wheel still fitted though :cry: :cry: .
