I had a GT2871R 0.86 housing it was a cracking turbo less lag than the standard turbo spooled up very fast and was nearly maxing out 600cc injectors at 1.55 Bar.

Only just @ 1.8 bar it ran out of puff at that stage, already been there, got the T-shirt..................then I dumped the .64 housing and swapped it for the .86 no noticeable lag difference but loads more pull in the top end.

One of my friends couldnt do it on the 0.86 version, with poncams, I think if you go for 260/270 cams you would crack 400bhp.

I'm not sure what you use as the "standard" rolling road on this board, the most consitent seems to be Dyno Dynamics, so I'm talking 400 on one of their Dyno's.

Likewise, Dyno Dynamics is who lay my trust with too.
Have to say my own personal experience with the 2871 0.64 was not as nice as the 3071, and the 0.64 did as mentioned creep a bit. Can't knock the 3071 however. They always make good power. I set up Ashills one and it made 463/430 on dyno dynamics with one of those, stock head and cams.
