Head bolts:
step 1 all bolts 43 lb's
step 2 all bolts 80-87 lb's
step 3 loosen all bolt's completely
step 4 all bolt's 27-31 lb's
step 5 all bolts 80-93 lb's or 90-95 degree's clockwise.
There are ten bolts with number 1 being middle inlet side of the head, number 2 is opp number 1 number 3 is next to number 1 driver's side
number 4 is opp number 3 number 5 is next to number 1 passenger side
number 6 is opp number 5 number 7 is next to number 3 driver's side
number 8 is opp number 7 number 9 is next to number 5 passenger side and last but not least number 10 is opp number 9.
cam cover : 2-4 lb's
oil pump cover : 4.7-5.5 lb's
sump: 4.7-5.5 lb's
water pump: 12-15 lb's
oil filter housing: 12-14 lb's
inlet manifold: 22-27 lb's
exhaust manifold: 27-35lb's
water pump pulley: 4.6-6.1 lb's
crankshaft pulley: 105-112 lb's
cam gear's: 101-116 lb's
flywheel: 94-101 lb's
alloy plate between sump and block: 12-14lb's apart from the middle 2 on
the passenger side end that are : 4.7-5.5 lb's.
chain tensioner: 4.6-6.1 lb's
front cover: 4.7 5.5 lb's
crank main bearing's: step 1 28-33 lb's
step 2 62-84 lb's
Rod cap's: step 1 14-15 lb's
step 2 34-38 lb's
cam's: step 1 1.4 lb's
step 2 4.3 lb's
step 3 6.7-8.7 lb's but the 2 bolts over the dizzy are: 13-19 lb's.
