Wheels and Tyres

I know, there must be something in the air causing wheels and tyre threads but I would appreciate your thoughts.

I want to get 15" rims as I do a lot of rough road driving and the higher tyre wall help cushion the ride a bit.

I have an option of getting either 15x6.5 or 15x7. What should I go for?

Thoughts and advice please.

Wide arch thing... what's that all about. It a pulsar... :)
Hmm... I have the original wheels at the moment... 185 / 60.
225 - 235 sounds a muckle wide and then the tyre price goes up and choice goes down.
Think I'll have to sleep on this... thanks though weasel.
Tomorrow is another day... more

I have some 15" "racing" alloys with nearly new yoko's for sale im not sure if they are 7" or 7.5" though!
They have 195 width tyres on at the moment, i need to get rid as both my garages are full of stuff, i will throw in a HKS turbo timer and some standard springs for free with the sale. I have the hks plug connector still in its box.

If your interested make me an offer nothing silly though.
You can Pm me with an offer
I can send you pics via email so if you pm me leave your email add..
I am based in Buckinghamshire

I don't know about 15s, but 225/40/16s fitted in the standard arches OK on my Volks, no fouling on the struts either.

205/50 or 55/15s give you a shed load of choice on Mytyres. 215/45s have 2 choices.
