what colour to re-paint my wheels?

My wheels are corroding and the paints starting to flake off. I think i want to paint them white and i think they'll look good but not sure really

Got a couple of pics. the 1st one is how they are now...

and a photoshop of them white.....

What do you think?

White is nice but pain to keep looking good (unless you like cleaning every day)

I'd go for a gunmetal colour and do the whole wheel (ie get rid of the polished rim)

Mind you, you'll find those wheels weigh a ton and if you have any sense you'll get something lighter
