water leak

Noticed a trickle of water in the passenger footwell this morning. Pulled the carpet back as far as I could and there has been a slight trickle down and along the passenger side.

After looking under there is nothing to suggest this has been a long term thing, so I am thinking its coming from where I wired my amp kit in a couple of months back, but its only recent since the weather has got worse.

However I though I would ask first to see if anything like the aircon has been known to leak a small amount into the passenger foot well.

The air con evaporator under the dash will have a drain to outside the car, normally thru the bulkhead.....if the drain is blocked tho it could leak inside but i have never seen it.

cheers mate, I haven't used the aircon in weeks, but it will be a good test.

Its never done it before, so I am going with the amp wiring.

Trouble is to check where the water is coming from is soldi due to all the aircon gear behind the dash.
