Hi all

I Have a set of 215/40 R16 on my nissan sunny can anyone tell me what the tyre pressures should be, i am running 30 psi in all of them at the moment because im not sure.

I have 17's and run 34 front and 33 rear, possibly a bit high for our pot hole ridden roads. It's surprising how noticeable a difference of 1psi makes though...

Different brands of tyres can like different pressures too. Different seasons and ambient temps can also change the optimum. There is definately not a one size fits all.

Try 30, 33, 35 for starters and see what you like. People run more than that on track but not advisable for the road.

Most people who race have their own gauge as well as the garage ones are often out.
