Turbo lag when changing gear?

Having had my Dawes device adjusted to 0.9 bar now, i find that in 1st i can boot it - it goes fine, then when i change to 2nd, i get a real laggy sort of feeling as if the turbo isn't spinning up, then it eventually goes again.........

It does this all through the gears, but if i just put it into second, drive along and then floor it - there's no Lag at all???

Any ideas what this may be?

if its th standard turbo u cant get lag in that weenie little thing check ya boost gauge wen it feels laggy cos i bet it still might b boosting the same and if it is it means ya not fueling rite or the ignition is out wen u put the car under load which might b causing your flat spots lower in the rev range
