Standard blow off valve

Is there a way to get the standard Dump valve to produce the pshhhhhhh sound,

Well i got it going by taking off the big pipe, that goes back into the air intake, and I have blocked that one off,

Dump valve was working great , and sounded not very loud, but just ok.

The problem is the car wouldnt idle properly, is there a way around this?

tried this myself when i first got my R, had the same problem :?
i think the problem lies with the factory bov not sealing properly when the pipe is disconected or the fact that it might be a bit old and tierd and not sealing right.
i ended up just fitting an aftermarket 1.

coz, when the engines in vacuum, its suckin in unmeted air in thr the DV

while we're on the std dump valve q's...... what sort of boost pressure can it handle before it starts sticking etc.

I am running 1 bar on the standard one with no problems

I know... embarassing... will get an aftermarket one, but here in New Zealand, everything is so expensive and limited so yeah.
