slow starting probs

Having trouble starting when the engine is cold, turns over for about 10 secs before it actully starts. Takes longer when its icy once started its fine.

What's is causing ths?

Battery :?: First thing I'd do would be to get it tested, any decent garage should test it for free.

Yeah, id say the battery too. Unfortunatly most imports come with a micra abttery which is useless in the cold. Im getting an optima yellow top.

he has a Uk sunny so does that mean he has a bigger battery?

it,s turning over so i don,t think it the battery.do the light go dim when starting? check your coolant temp sensor for broken/Kinked wiring etc
try blipping the throttle when starting

Fuel probs?
Plug probs?

Does it try firing and slowly get there or just burst into life?
Fuel system not pressurising before starting?
