hi
can anyone help, i have just changed the gearbox in my r and every was fine for a couple of days but now the rev counter just sits at 1000rpm the very slowly goes round past the redline and just sits there. has anybody had this problem, i have tried sedarching but there arnt any solutions.

it has only just started after changing the gearbox. are there any wires in particular?

im not 100% sure but i believe that rev counter is wired into coil as this is where it picks its reading up from!
to remove box you would have had to un clip multi plugs from coil, and this is where fault could be!
disconnect multiplug and check wires and connecting pins for damage and stretch, then spray them with wd40 or similar and reconnect them, and see what happens then!

i tried looking but everything is connected. does any body have an ideah where the rev counter tkes its feed from?
