removeing aircon

i have already removed the ac rad and all the pipeing from the engine bay the next step is removeing the ac motor is it right when its removed to just fit a non ac aux belt and all is good

A gates 5pk838 should do the trick. You can also remove the condenser that lives in the heater box in the passenger footwell.

When you remove it, make sure you also take the mounting bracket off, as this is where a lot of the weight is!

will defo remove the bracket as i have heard this weighs the most

I used belt size 825 4pk. whatever you do don't go smaller than that as it was a very very tight fit.

and 850 squeels in the winter so anywhere in the middle should do.

I only mention as I found it near impossiable to find a 838 in any local motorfactor
