id say it probably depends on the age condition etc. also what you do with the car ie, track days etc

Still waiting on some shims!
I'd change it anyway.. Most are pretty tired by now.. Cooling is something not to be avoided..

i have a good company that can make just about any spec rad, any size, any inlet/outlet for a very reasonable price. They are based in cambridge, did my drag cars rad for £240 all in, would've been cheaper as i supplied the -20 weld on fittings but i was more than happy with what they'd done so paid them the full amount.

work was spot on, done in the exact time they said it would be and were very easy/good to deal with.

I've seen loads of cars way in excess of 350bhp and never had a cooling problem with the oem rad......
