Problem with Walbro 255lit/hr fuel pump

Hi Guys

I recently installed a Walbro 255lit/hr fuel pump and it keeps blowing the 15 amp fuse in the fuse holder. Has anyone installed one and had this problem? What is the solution to this problem?

Try refitting your origional pump and if you don't have a problem, it'll be the new pump. Just make sure the wirings ok (no stray strands or anything) and you haven't upset anything when you fitted it.

Put back the stock pump and its working fine, so I guess the problem is the new one. What a waste of money. I am using 550 cc injectors what pump would you recommend without breaking the bank? Some suggest one from a 300zx tt.

Is it the right size fuse?? Does it blow it straight away??How much current do the warlboros draw?

Can't you get a replacement on warranty? Plenty of people on here run that pump with no problems.
