power Steering

Hi guys, my power steering went yesterday. After looking under the car, saw part of the belt hanging down. Is this quite a big job to get replaced?

I don't think it's a big job, but it's a royal pain in the arse!
There's not much room at the front of the engine, and you need to take the alternator belt off first... and if your alternator is like mine you'll need to persuade it to move (read: belt it with a mallet) once you've undone the adjuster bolt.

My alternator slackened nicely last night as I was removing the belts :)... but as Pobody said.. it's a PAIN in the arse!!.. My hand kept cramping up.
