power steering pump gone

took me car out today and thrashed it to solve any teething problems i might have and when i came to a stop i found the power steering resevior had thrown a lot of fliud out and smoke was pooring out the vents. The steering had felt heavy but i thought that was because i was used to my every day car. would this be a clear sign the power steering pump has failed or could i have some sort of blockage somewhere??

Any proceedures i can follow to define a power steering pump renewal?

When my pump went, it leaked out of the end where the pulley bolts on. There was also alot of play in that shaft.

mine was thrown out of the resevoir? dunno about any play tho, will check 2mo....

pm me a price please and for a throttle pos sensor too, oh and the ecu (the spade connection) temp sensor, as for some reason mine keep breaking i,e the top comes loose, common fault??

If you need a throttle position sensor im 99% sure ive got one somewhere mate ;-)
