possibly water pump /help!

drips of water and anti-freeze on floor under the position of water pump, would there be anything else in that area that would cause this?

not really only a split water hose but that would piss out once the engine gets warm and the coolant syatem pressurises.

See if you can see where it is dripping for when the egine is running or has been running do it when hot.

It could be coming from the metal elbow that the coolant sensors are mounted in

It bolts to the back of the head just above where the water pump is. Its a bitch to get at though

just had this from mine.

The water pump has two holes top and bottom, it lets water out when the bearing is about to collapse, as a warning. Simarlar to the vauxhal design.

Thats where the waters coming from.

Possible to change in situ, but fiddly.

Ahh well.. Back to the skinned knuckles.
