Hi,
Is there somebody who would have 17" OZ superleggera wheels ?
They are very light but are they as strong as other one or stronger ?

As they are forged instead of cast, they have a similar strength to a normal alloy but at a lighter weight. If you're concerned about strength, try a motorsport/rally wheel as they are designed to take a few big hits.

OK have to ask what is the difference in process between forged and cast?

Forging means the wheel is pressure formed or cast to shape the wheel, whereas a normal cast wheel will be manufactured to a rough wheel shape, then machined afterwards.

The pressure forming gives the metal more strength.

It's a pity that it is so difficult to buy some as well in France in Belgium

the importer said to me that they were not forged but that it acted of a different molecular fitting
