Oil residue in Top Mount I/C..?

Recently had my top mount off - to fit a front mount... :D

Looking at the top mount - there seems to be oily residue around the pipe. Both outlets have a similar amount.

A while ago I had the intercooler off and it was pretty clean..!

Does anyone knows the causes/reasons why this is?

Cheers

Most likely it is coming from the emmisions/oil breather system. Thats what i found with mine, so i stripped it all off. There is a pipe that goes from the rocker cover to the intake ( just after the MAF ) that supposedly draws oil fumes into the intake and burns them, but all it really does is coat your intercooler in crap ( dropping the efficiency, and lower your octane rating causing det ). When I front mounted i didn't want my nice shiny new cooler getting all manked up so I removed the lot, and now vent to air.

The other possibility is oil bleeding from the turbo, but its rare I think because the high pressure in the intake manifold 'pushes' the oil back in, its more common on the exhaust side.
