oil levels

notice today that my oil level is above the max levels is it the top mount oil coller draining back into the sump the car has been standing for a week?

If you are on a slope of any sorts that will show a higher reading (car leaning forward) as the dip stick is at the front of the sump and so levels will not be accurate.

If you are on flat ground then i would drain the oil until you get to a settled max of "Max" on the dip stick. If you have too much oil you can damage the turbo by forcing oil past the seals etc.

If on the flat its above max then drain the excess out , over filling oil can have some nasty effects.
