if i used 10w40 engine oil in my car for about 1000 miles for normal driving(no tracks etc) could this damage anything and would effect would this have on the oil pressure :?: :?:

No, 10W-40 is fine, I used to use it (Magnatec). Most people on here use 10W-60 as we are just taking the extra precaution of using the best oil we can find, but some say it's overkill and 10W-40 suffices fine.

yes mate i've just bought 4.5litres of magnatec for 17.50 at halfords.
