Oil coolers

I am going to get one of these, but I was wondering what you do when its time to change the oil :?

I would not assume that you only do a normal oil change as then the old oil in the cooler would mix with it. Which may mean that you take out the cooler & empty it then fill it again before putting it back & continuing as normal.

It this right?

if you change your oil and filter regular then you shouldn' t need to drain the cooler.

if you do a Jimmy and leave it till it resembles mollasses then draining it would be a good idea :lol:
