Oil cooler leaking water

Are they known to do this? I have a water leak and I can't find where it's coming from, i'm starting to think it's from the oil cooler itself. I'm getting a constant dripping on the floor, when I touch the oil cooler it's wet. I assumed it's the pipes running to it, have pulled them all off and checked them, all look ok.

Can I just bin it as I have a after market mocal oil cooler anyway.

I've had the oil cooler water pipes leak before, also there's another two larger water pipes just abut above them and I've had one of those leak too. To loose the oil cooler you'd need to seal the two water pipes to the cooler. I assume the aftermarket take off plate (if that's the right name) then fits in place of the standard oil cooler.
