no heaters

I have done some searching but its not really helping. After having the engine out and changing all the pipes I cant get the heaters to work. Both the pipes going into the cabin are hot but no heat on the blowers. I have operated the lever connected to the center vents which doesnt change anything. The heater slide is the non electronic one.

Am i missing something. If I remove the housing that contains the air con rad will I be able to reach the heater matrix?

I am sure the car is bled properly.

both in and out pipes are hot you say?

are you sure theyve been connected the right way round?
thats the only possible thing i can think of other than the control unit being stuck on cold setting

i'd bet you have a air lock in the heater matrix

Ok I sorted it out now. To clear things up for future reference.

I stripped the air con box out and felt the matrix and it was hot. As I already said I dont have the electronic temp control, I have the cable one. Basically the cable sheath wasnt in the holder so the flap remained closed all the time. It is now all fixed and the heaters are roasting now.
