New lowerage!

Got my G-Force coilovers fitted and setup by HiTec today, was supposed to get there at 9am, but nightmare roads ending up in me being an hour and a half late! Ian got on with the car the minute I got there though and the car is feeling great!

Mucho respect to them...

And Andy got the mesh :lol:

Some pics...Looks alot better than it did, fitted clear repeators too in last pic.

FMIC is on it's way end of the week, and a red grill, and leather seats..all on there way! Woop!

I got stopped by Police and fined £30. :x I blame you!!!

LOL

The plates there as when I get the FMIC, the bumper will be getting "chopped up"

What's the ride and handling like now ?

I'm interested as, I have to replace two front dampers so, as these are only £200 more expensive at the moment, I might get these instead !

The spring rates seem a bit high to me ?! Aren't they 7kg/mm front and 5kg/mm rear ?

Did you have the option of changing the springs when you bought them ? As it say's you can on the SRB website !

Paul TBH I can't really help in this department as I bought them off a member on here, he sold them to me brand new.

Well when I got a quote from 3 places originally that Andy recommended to me, all said it would be a 4 hour job, 2 garages were in the £450+ margain!
Hitec told me they charge £46+VAT, so it worked out cheaper, it took them just over 4 hours due to my CV boot being fixed and also the test runs Ian did in the car ot get it perfect. In the end I paid £360 but that included clear repeators, and the CV boot inner and outer, and oil. I think you'll bne looking at around £250 mate, probably just over.

I waited for the car to be done in the waiting room, got cups of tea, spoke to John and read the magz, and the car was right outside the window so watched the whole event, LOL...I'm over 2 hours away so it wasn't a case of leaving the car and going.

Top job though, I'm very happy :)
