Yeah so its gone to shit. Its £1500 for the clutch quoted no work done yet. If anyone can recommend another garage breaks and stuff me and the old man do but dropping an AWD gearbox out flywheel and all no chance. Fucked

I assume the high price is due to the need to drop the engine. Unfortunately that takes some time and as i'm sure you're aware, that's where most of the cost is going. It's a bugger for sure. An unfortunate reality when changing the the clutch on the RNN14. I think it's going to cost a kidney wherever you go i'm afraid.

£1500  I should start renting my mates ramp off him and doing them again! I assume that price includes the new clutch?

As others have said don't bother with a standard clutch, a mildly uprated organic clutch would be better and won't make the pedal much heavier.

"he's got some coin" it's true, it's a 50 pence you cheeky bugger after the kids have raped my bank account for the Playstation network and the wife mentally spending things we don't need. Like an avocado stone remover for the love of Jesus. Anyway, word on the street is you like a tight arse.
