What would you expect to pay to have your R lowered by say 35 - 40mm.
I have just fitted my new wheels and even though they are only 16's the car looks really tall. If i buy a set of lowering springs what ones should i get :?: And what would it cost to get them fitted :?:

started with 40mm on mine and it just looked really high still  now ive gone down 90mm it looks really good but im having trouble with the camber now its that low
id say about £100 / £200 for the springs if thats what you go for or £500 +++ for coilovers and about £50 fitting well thats about what it costs round here anyway

I have a set of standard shocks with 60mm lowering spings if u want em.
The R looks just right on 16's with a 60mm drop.

I read somewhere that anything more than about 40mm would mean the driveshafts would be at un-favourable angles. Meaning, increased wear on the cv joints etc...

Can't remeber where though !

i dont think mine is like that with the drive shafts etc etc they look fine its just a really hard ride and ive had loads of messing about getting it all set up
some car you can slam them and have no probs you cant with the R
i would say 40 /60 mm max if you want the best of both worlds looks and handling that is
