knock on full turn.

getting a knocking noise on full lock just as its nearly full turn,passenger front side
also a clunking changing from 1st to 2nd gear,
any ideas i cant get under the car to check, until i put it in garage fri,
im thinking maybes the cv joint,
any ideas?

drive the car in circles**, if it goes clonk, clonk, clonk etc..... it'll be the outer CV joint...


**do right turns to check out the left CV joint, do left turns to check out the right CV joing

it does it when the steering wheel is turned at nearly full lock left.
and gearchanges 1st to 2nd.
