Still waiting on some shims!
A-Plan have been in touch with the Club so you should see some very good prices from them!

I was with them for two years and enjoyed no hassles.

Unfortunately they couldnt match Adrian Flux's quote which was more expensive than the previous year but still miles more cheaper than anyone else could offer.

Ant.

Adrian Flux offered me a bargain quote of £8,000 and that was with a discount! :der:

Christ SMO that's cheap. I was never paying less than 4 figures when I was 22. Even then I thought it was a good deal.
Now I'm old, 28, insurance is a different matter.
You see there are some benifits to getting clicky hips and sore knees lol.
Might give a-plan a call then. Thanks for posting your quote Lisa.

A-Plan insured me on my first Pulsar when I was 19, with two years driving experience (0NCB) at £2,200 TPFT. Then for £1,300 FC on my second Pulsar a year later. Unfortunately they wouldn't touch me on my Evo V GSR so I ended up going with Admiral for £1,800 FC at 21 (1NCB) before coming back A-Plan with the RX-7 at £1,500 FC (21, 1NCB) and finally to the Pulsar(s) again at £640 FC (22, 1 NCB).

The local branch manager is a great bloke - he always does my insurance cheaper than anywhere else and in return I pay him and don't crash my cars! He's just insured the Mrs and I on the Integra Type-R for £570 FC which is a good price too. I don't imagine I'll be going anywhere else until I fancy another Evo, Scoob or Skyline!

Got to admit been with A-plan since I was 25, always very good quotes. I'm actually paying over the odds on my daily motor cos I don't want the hassle of leavin and coming back when I get another import. They give much better quotes on specialist stuff than run of mill road cars.

I've been with Adrian Flux for 3 years and they were the lowest at £760 TPF&T, i still feel robbed even if i am 23. Still we are paying for all the w*nkers that dont pay for their insurance.

you should put the gtir on classic insurance as no claims bonus does not apply to this type of insurance,

Only problem with A Plan is the money you get offered if your car gets written off. Before you take a policy out ask what the "book price" will be in the event of a write off. Years ago when I had my GTR before the bottom fell out the car market the admitted they would have only offered me £8000 for it when it was worth £14000 all day long. I went elsewhere for an agreed value policy.

Saying that our cars aren’t worth much these days anyway so it probably don’t really matter
