I'm in a state of confusion. I am currently rebuilding the a head and I want to be sure that i have the correct head. Sounds stupid but the Nissan chaps seem to think i have hydraulic lifters and i honestly don't know! So heres a pic;

do i have a GTi-R head or an SX head? I bloody hope i have a Gti-R head.....

...or can you even tell from that picture?

thats cool. So that means i'm even more confused. Can you tell me exactally what part the 'solid lifter' is? I know this sound retarded but i was under the impression it was this bit;

well it sort of is but our set up is completely different, the 200sx's hydraulic lifter looks similar in situ but works completely differently by using oil to take out the tolerances of the valve train, keeping the valvetrain quiet. Hydraulic lifters can suffer problems at high rpm and there is an upgrade to convert to solid lifters on the 200sx.

there are rocker arms that sit on the pivot that look like a couple of fingers 1 rocker arm to 2 valves
