I want to change the wheel but studs on one of my rear hubs but haven't a clue how to get the hub off the car. I've removed the wheel, wheel bearing nut and can push the drive shaft in and out, but I can't pull the hub off.

what gives?

isnt it all one unit?
your going to have to seperate the taper joint off the wish bone (this is going to need two people, unless you've muscles like popeye! :D ), undo the bolts where it bolts into the shock absorber, and (i think) disconnect the track rod/roll bar too!

are you just trying to replace the wheels studs or is there another reason you are pulling the hub off.

BIG HAMER!!!!
I did have to replace all my front wheel studs about a year ago but cant for the life of me remember how i did it now without looking at it again??? All I remember is that I didn't have to take that many things apart, and once thinking about it it wasn't too hard.
don't know if the fronts are much different from the rears tho?
