Hiteq airfilter relocation pipe

Hi everyone, Just got my Hiteq airfilter relocation pipe and am planning to use it with a z32 and 3071r .Only problem is both z32 and turbo are larger in diameter and will need silicone reducers to fit the pipe which is too narrow. I was thinking about getting one made in the correct size so i could use couplers instead of reducers and get better flow. Does anyone in the know think this a wise idea or is it thinner for a reason?? Thanks chaps, Russ

Good question!
I'm in the same boat mate.... Need to make induction to fit 3" turbo inlet, Z32. I also have an airbox that will house Apexi 80mm filter.
At the moment, I'm planning to keep the induction pipe as wide as possible.
