high oil temp

hello!

one of the rigid oil lines going to my turbo snapped so i replaced it with a flexible braided one. ( i think someone told me to do this last time i took my turbo off anyway but i decided i could`nt be arsed.. thanks mike!)

anyway, since doing this my oil temp has gone through the roof, when it first warms up it will slowly go up to the 3rd dash, where before it would sit just below the bottom dash. and when i give it some it will go up to just over halfway. :evil:

and i can smell oil burning all the time. :evil:

any ideas??

have u had a leak down test done at all?

i`m pretty sure its all gone back on ok, but i aint had a test done, do they do this at normal garages??
