hi all, i'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could help?
While i pull away from the traffic lights and putting the car into second gear i heard a masive bang. After stopping the car i could hear a loud knocking coming from the passanger side of the engine. however when i put the clutch in the sound goes away. I'm also unable to put it into second.
Also, while putting the car on the back of a flat bed tow truck i tried to drive it off the grass verge i had parked it on. There appears to be a large clunking noise from the off side front wheel. This goes away when the car is turned off and the car is free wheeled.
Has anyone got any ideas??
