hey guys. yet another mundain question for you all. i've heard that most jap cars have different wiring colours etc. i'm pretty sure the earth has to be located somewhere else.

would someone be able to point me in the right direction (another post maybe), i'm sure someone has asked about this before.

I seem to remember (correct me if I'm wrong) that when I fitted mine and connected the stereo earth to what seemed to be the earth, it kept blowing a fuse (side lights) so I just earthed it to the stereo cage I think, seems to work fine!

theres a wire in the loom will look like an earth but is actually the illumination feed for the headunit as i recall there is no earth on the loom but the unit can be earthed off the cage as suggested above or mine used the earthed itself when the ariel was pulgged in for the radio
