gearbox

Ive been looking at a few other jap 4wd cars and it seems most of them have gear box oil coolers, is it possible to fit our cars with a gear box cooler and would it help our box`s? My mate has a gt4 celica and he reccons there boxes are good for 600bhp and it seems the only difference between ours is the gear box cooler.

If it could be done would u need a pump to flow the oil through the cooler?

Pm vpulsar, i think he's looked into it and already has the connections on his gearbox. You'd need an electric pump to run the oil round

Its a good idea but i dont think it'll change the fact that the R gearbox is crap though :lol:
