Which gearbox oil is recomended for the R, and how much would i need?

Redline mt90 is recommended by quite a few people and you'll need about 4.3lt. I use castrol driveline syntrax.

direct from redlines website, or from demon tweaks racing. check both prices cause i found it was cheeper from demon tweaks.

was gonna get the redline, but at £10 per litre, think you need 6 to do gearbox & rear diff, i opted for "normal" semi synthetic 75/90, on the beleif that for about £15 for 6 litres, i can afford to change the box & diff oil every time i change the engine oil

it made a noticeable difference in less noise/smoother gear changes

I use and fit 75w 90 semi synthetic much better than that EP80 honey stuff. Slicker smother shifts 8)
