Front disks size with OEM wheels

I need to replace my front disks/pads as they fecked, what are my best options considering I've got standard sized wheels?

I've gotta do the rears too but can't afford it at the moment. [8)]

I don't think that you can run any bigger discs on the stock (14") wheels even with special kits but I'm 100%.

As for what discs/pads. I run Black Diamond Combi (grooved and slotted) which I would recommend (they're also pretty cheap).

I run EBC Greenstuff pads which I would recommend. I might add that some aren't keen on Greenstuff, but I've used them on my last few cars and like them. With the slotted discs they do get chewed in now time mind.

I've just been given information about a company called Hispec that do a 280mm front disk conversion using the standard calipers and wheels.

Just need to confirm they'll fit under the wheels.
