Ehup....
I've got a Bailey DV24 (I think) at the moment which is a single piston atmo DV - but I think it's leaking air at idle and causing high idle probs.
I've been looking at the Fogre website and they have the
FMGTIR016 £125.50
and
FMDV004 £71.50
both of which are dual piston Ram Atmo DV's.
I've asked Forge what the difference is for the £55 odd quid - their reply:-
"The Gtir valve is similar to the 004 , however the gtir valve was designed
to exactly replace the OEM Nissan valve , giving the optimum air
displacement between gear changes , the bottom pipe on the Gtir valve is 34mm , with the 004 being 25mm .
We find that this set up is much more efficient , we have actually had a
price review for 2004 and the Gtir valve is being reduced to £98.00 + vat"
Anyone used either of these - any comments - any other recommendations?
Cheers
