Just putting the final stages of an engine rebuild together and went to fit the main front pulley, only to find that the timing marks were about 3" out of line at TDC. I have since been informed that this is quite a common problem with the standard front pulley as the outer ring often seperates from the rubber and goes out of line (something to think about when you next check your timing).
I was trying to justify the £217 on a set of Forge light weight pulleys, I phoned Forge and said I only wanted the main pulley really, he put me on hold for a minute and then came back to say "I've got a set here and one of the pulleys is a slightly different shade of Blue to the rest, would I like them for £100 all in, including VAT & delivery, guess what I said ???

What a bargain 8)
