We do not do any cages off the shelf and therefore all our specialist bespoke
manufacture. This does ensure that the cages you receive are to the exact
specifications you require and fit every time!!

To design, manufacture and fit cages would be as follows. Please note these are
ball park figures until final specification is discussed:

1. Six-point bolt in cage with fixed diagonal and door bars to MSA Blue Book:
£850.00

2. Multi-point bolt in cage with fixed rear diagonal, rear brace/harness bar,
door bars and front and rear cages tied into A and B pillars to MSA BLue Book:
£1250.00

3. Full CDS weld in including triangulation to front turrets to MSA Blue
Book: £1500.00

To FIA homologate any of the above we would need to add £500 which are the new
charge levied by MIRA and the MSA.

4. Full T45 weld in: £2200.00 (this price includes homologation (£500))

All prices are for the cages fitted. The bolt-in cages would be black powder
coated.

If we had a quantity of identical cars in the workshop at one time, we could
look into the possibility of discounts for quantity.

I hope that the above information is useful and look forward to hearing from
you,

Best Regards

Hi,
sorry for the delay
we mainly produce cage's out of alloy or stainless steel, usually for show
purpose's but both are quiet strong anyway. especially the stainless type,
but we also produce them in steel.
we have produce weld in cage for stock car which we have produce and
installed ourselves.
so if its saftey you have in mind then your looking at a steel cage, but of
you want it to look good as awell, then we can produce them in polished
stainless, which look the part.

have a look at the site as all prices are on there. but id stay away from
aluminium realy but there still strong and very very light! steel cage are
quiet heavey!
we can produce a custom cage no problem price depends what you want, but it
will be along the lines of the web site, just a bit extra for installation.

if you would like any assist then please get back to me!

Many Thanks

Mark

David,

Sorry for the delay in response to your email reference roll cage supply and
manufacture.

I can confirm that we have and FIA homologated bolt-in roll cage (plates
require welding) that is available from stock or a maximum of 4 week lead
time from date of order. This cage is manufactured in a jig using laser
profiler and CNC bender to guarentee a quality fit time and again, and
finish in highly durable black powder coat (silver and red also available as
options).

I have attached a document outlining the retail pricing and a diagram of the
cage itself.

This exact cage will be featured in redline magazine in the next couple of
editions (due to be installed at our premises in the next couple of weeks)
so you can see more detail then.

We also stock the highest quality harnesses in the world (Schroth) which are
used on all Porsche's race cars and in 5 F1 teams, yet still at an
affordable price. Fire extinguisher systems and padding aer also available
from stock.

All these products can be made available to yourself and your fellow members
at a discounted price (subject to further discussion).

Regarding your requirments.. if this cage is not enough we can perform a
custom install in our very own SVO (special vehicle operations) department
to your required specification. However this will come at a cost of approx
£1500 - £2000 + VAT subject to viewing your vehicle/ your requirements.

Look foward to hearing from you soon

Kind Regards

Stephen

Nad,

Unfortunately the only cage we have manufacturing designs, jigs and FIA
certification for is the bolt-in cage as detailed.

Now we could undertake a custom install as suggested for a cost of approx.
£1600, however I'm afraid that FIA certification will be another £1000. This
certification cost may seem high, and it is compared to 18 months ago when
we used to be able to get cages FIA homologated for approx. £250.00 however
substantial rule changes that came in last year means all new cages now need
to be crushed tested which is very expensive (these rules apply to all roll
cage manufacturers).

Hope this information is helpful

Look foward to hearing from you soon

Hi Dave
just got and read your mail, it accidentally got put into the deleted item
folder and I have just come across it.
We can manufacture the roll cages for your GTIR's to any specification and
we are approved MSA roll cage manufactures, we don't have any in stock as we
manufacture to order.
The best way forward would be for you to contact me directly by phone to
discuss your requirements as there are so many variables, (Phone numbers withheld)
Hopefully speak soon
Cheers for now

Just wanted to add my comments:

Bolt in cages are very good for fitting an easy install budget solution, you can also unbolt the cage at any future point. Full weld in cages are the best solution but to do it properly you need to strip the shell and send it away, see photo below. But this will cost circa 2k for the cage + respray and strip/fit.

You should also be aware that if you intend to compete in an MSA event like sprinting/hillclimbing etc it will have to be certified, most/some Japanese cages aren't. I actually saw a car fail scrutineering this year and not allowed to compete unless he removed his cage!

I run a safety devices boltin 6 point with twin X rear and door bars, very good coz when I stuck it on its roof at Olton Park, I pushed it back over and drove home!

Just for your info

I think its just a case of choosing the rite cage for what u wish to do and ur individual situation.

Both Custom Cages and Rollcentre said £1300 top inc vat for literally any cage design, and with a decent set of door bars, not the cut and shuts above :p
