evo 3 seats

anyone fitted lancer evo 3 recaro's in a pulsar? any idea how much works involved ie subframes etc?

i looked at it the other day and u wouldnt be able to use the gtir subframe easily ill have a better look when engine stuff is done im sure it can be adapted some how

im sure the sub can be modded, but is there enough clearance between the seats and the doors, and in the middle?

i have recaros in mine and the frames were in when i got the car so no idea where they came from.

A friend of mine put some evo 8 seats in his R. They look sweet but he said modding the original sub frames was a complete bitch of a job. Took him 2 days. Worth it though, the standard seats aren't the best are they.

Yeah, i thought it would be a pissabout, so ive got some used R subframes off pulsarboby to mount the recaros onto.

Im armed with a welder, some plate and bar, and a mate who can weld !
